We have a Wii but not a Wii U. So this means we can only use Disney Infinity 1.0 but can use all the various Skylander games. We have kids who are 6 and 9 and are thinking about getting one of these game for them to play.
They both like minecraft and building things which makes Disney look neat, but with it being so limited with only using 1.0 and that's it, that's a huge negative for me. With Skylanders we could eventually get all 4 games which would give them months of enjoyment.
Anyway, I don't really know a ton of either of these games so am just looking for any opinions from people with the original Wii who have used these games to compare and contrast them.
