If your having problems with your laser, is it only happening on a specific game,?
If its under warranty send it to Nintendo...

Hey thanks for that.
I believe it is not the game. They have been playing 007 for weeks. Suddenly the error message comes up. I made the homemade laser cleaner (old cd, bandaid, cardboard "arm") and it worked, they could play, but only for a few minutes then the error came back up. I will check to see if the error comes up on a different game.
Can games (cds) work and then quit working?

Cd's in general should work all the time unless they are stratched or smudged badly, apparently black ops seems to mess up certain peoples Wii consoles but not exactly sure why, others on here may know..
Try getting a real cd lens cleaner not homemade. Taking apart your Wii to clean your laser is say should be your absolute last resort, especially if you don't know what your doing....
