picked this game up on friday (its release date over here) but havent seen anyone talk about it on here...

anyone played it? got it?

i personally havent played much of it, but so far am very impressed :yesnod:

its looks fantastic, and is great fun powersliding around corners in the mud/gravel...

one thing though, what ever happened to the days of split-screen multiplayers?

i havent actually tried forza, so i cant give a comparison im afraid...

i might have a look though as i wanted some driving games for the 360, and had my eye on DiRT for ages..

does forza have split-screen multiplayer?

The game looks great but some people say they have almost finished it in 2 days. I think I'll just rent it.

that's what i was afraid of. loved the demo, and hated the forza demo at first, but i gave it a few days, and i've ended up with forza over dirt. this is after weeks of extensive demoing of both games as well :yesnod:

forza just seems like a more complete game overall. the challenge of getting the controls down are definately part of the allure. great physics, solid game overall.

(may get dirt too  )

DIRT looks superb, tempted to buy it for £29.99 over Forza purely because it seems more varied than the same old Forza buy, mod, race same tracks over and over...

well im having a good time playing this game..

i dont get to play intensively due to not alot of free time at home, so i havent really been impacted by it possibly being quite short, though i think i will enjoy re-playing the tracks at the higher skill levels anyway..

anyone know about the splitscreen mutli-player on forza? still interested if it does :yesnod:

Just completed career tonight after about 6 1/2 hours play. One of the best racing/rally games ever, but needs more standard rally stages rather than all the sub-modes there are.
