Dead pixels....?

When i'm playing wii sports tennis. I notice some checkerboard type texture around the ball when it is hit by the racket.
I also notice this in the fire(from torches) in super paper Mario.
Do I have the dead pixel problem?

Hmmmm, your GPU may have overheated. Do you leave your Wii on WC24 standby often?

They are where ever the ball is in Tennis, and were ever the torch is in SPM. They are always in the same area around those two objects though.

it's almost always on standby....I mean, it only shows up in two games, but still I'm worried. My sister is like "whatever, stop being so worried" but she doesn't understand, it's not her Wii.

I have found with other electrical things. That sometimes you just need to turn them off and it helps out. I don't know the problem it sounds like something with the graphics card either over heating or just futsing up. I would try turning off the TV and the Wii and just let the sit till there is no heat in either of them. Then turn them back on and see if that helps.

I've turned the Wii "off" now, but my dad is watching TV xD
I'm going to be buying the wii cooling fan sometime soon.
