DBZ Tenkaichi 3 - Online question???

I recently get my Wii connected to internet and been playing a lot lately but it's hard to find fighter's, but here's my question is when playing online game play is always slow or is something wrong with my connection with bt3??
I also play Mario kart but it runs perfectly like playing regular games...
