cursor has disappeared

I am a mom who needs some advice. The cursor has disappeared from the screen. We have re-synced and checked the batteries. Does anyone have any ideas that might help?

make sure your sensor bar is firmly plugged in.
if it is then go to the wii setup and check that the sensitivity is about half-way (as a start).

if you don't see two white lights when you aim the remote to the sensor bar then it may not be working.

until you get your pointer back, you may use the d-pad (cross-shaped arrow buttons) to move and highlight the selections on the screen.
