Couple noobie questions

[Iranian Wii]

1. Is the Wii light supposed to stay on (orange) when you turn it off?

2. Do you have to sync the second controller everytime you turn it on? that seems to be a problem for me. I have to go into the controller menu and press 1&2 at the same time for it to work. I thought I could just press the home button but that doesnt seem to work.

I've gone through the manual but it doesn't seem to adress my problems.

Orange means the Wii is still connected to the internet. Turn off the option for it to turn red.

Pressing 1&2 is a temporary sync mode for when you are at a friends house. Use the sync button on the back of the remote and near the SD card slot on the Wii for it to be permanent.
