Coro Coro issue a bust? (IGN)

In a recent edition of IGN's Smash it Up! series, in which they speculate on characters (now stages) to be included in Brawl, they opened with this somewhat disappointing sentence.

December 14, 2007 - CoroCoro's character reveal turned out to be a bust, as no new information on any element of Brawl ended up debuting in the pages of that publication.

Ugh. If this is true which I assume it is, I am pissed. Good edition of Smash it up though if anyone reads it.
