I mentioned in another thread I should do this... so here I am... doing it.

Cooking is a bit of a passion of mine - I mean to say I don't get all weepy eyed making a PB&J, but I enjoying exploring more complex dishes, exotic ingredients, special techniques, etc.

We're big into healthy eating, but on the weekends we like to cut loose a little - though, some things (like no transfats, no HFCS, no proc'ed flour/sugar we tend to stick with). Other than that, I will try *anything*.

If you *do* post a recipe, make it one you've actually prepared! Usually some extra incite is fun too (like recipe variants, do/don't do). I enjoy trying to reproduce dishes I've had out (I reverse engineered this amazing artichoke soup from a local favorite).

Transfer the bread to the pan and cook until the eggs are done and slightly golden brown on both sides.

When finished, scramble the leftover eggs. (add cheese at this point if making cheese eggs)
DSCF0092.jpg

The eggs will cook very quickly, so work fast.

When finished, put some powdered sugar and syrup on the toast, salt and pepper the eggs to taste, serve with milk, coffee, or juice, and enjoy!
