Controller dropout problem

Hey all,
After doing some searching I could not find any posts with a similar problem.

The problem is that ONE of my two wii remotes has a flickering problem only when its pointed at the bottom left part of TV screen. In other words if I try to click on settings on the home screen, it usually takes several tries since the hand flickers and dissapears. I have tried all the standard fixes:
New Batteries
Desynch and Resynch
Moving Sensor bar
Cleaning IR spots on controller and bar

Also it does this on two different tv's in two totally different envirnments. My second controller has absolutely no issues.

Any recommendations or links to other threads that would help?

LOL omg,
I figured it out... there are some christmas tree lights in the corner of my living room. Didn't think they affect because as I mentioned, only one of my controllers had the problem. Flipped em off and ta-da. Makes my sound stupid I'm sure, but the lights have been there since Christmas and the problem only showed its face recently, Not to mention fact that it was F'ing up at someone elses house too.
