Connecting to others with wifi usb connector

I have the wifi usb and it works very well for shop and forecast/news channels, but when I try to play Guitar hero or Madden it is taking for ever to find someone and then not connecting with them. Anyone else with usb wifi connector have this problem? Any solutions?

yeah, 1 thing about the nintendo usb connector is: ITS WAY SLOW

Nintendo doesn't even recommend getting their own product, they say that wireless routers work WAY better.
