Just got my Wii yesterday (Friday) and have been have alot of fun boxing with my brother

Well on to my question...
I don't have a Wi-Fi router, but i have a Wi-Fi Acces Point, and i was wondering if it's possible to connect my Wii to the internet by first going throug the Acces Point, and on to the router, and finaly the majestig internet? :idea:
Hoping this will work, so i don't have to buy any new hardware
