im confused if i put in one of your friend code things does my name pop up on your wii or how does it work?

you both have to have each other's wii codes in order to send messages, mii parade, send mii's, etc.

So you got to tell your wii code and get other ppl to tell you their wii codes in order to link. O and remember there is a nickname at the end of the register part, this is the console name.
