Component Cables

Has anyone had any problems using the component cables with the virtual console games? When I go to play them they will load then the video goes out. Any suggestions?

I have the official Nintendo Component cables and a Sharp 720p HDTV, and 20 VC Games. No, except I have to adjust the aspect Ratio since the TVs Widescreen (16:9) and games back then were Full Screen (4:3). I can play them back in full 480p through components no problem.

What does your TV support + what brand component cables?

try turning your game off or try changing it back to normal

got it straight. it was just a matter of changing the settings on the console.
