I just checked the back of my Nintendo Component cables for the Wii and noticed that the length is actually 8.2 ft. I've heard a lot of people saying that there are 6 ft cables and 12 ft cables(3rd party). I just wanted to mention that Nintendo ones are 8.2 ft. It's only 2 ft more but it might make a difference for some people.
