I just ordered one today from store.nintendo.com. Does anyone know when they're suppose to ship? Nintendo doesn't give me any idea of when shipping will be.

oh man - it's in red on the product decription page. If you ordered on or after Thanksgiving, you won't get in on the first shipment and will have to wait until the second shipment comes in on the 18th before yours will ship out... Sorry to break bad news...

That sucks. So I have to wait until December 18th? My God.

Do you have an idea if you ordered it say three days before skanksgiving? i think i ordered it on tuesday before

It is true that retailers will be selling it for more than the $30 that Nintendo is charging?

I bought mine before Thanksgiving.

I received a good email!!!

Thank you for shopping with Nintendo! We wanted to let you know that your
order has been shipped.

I think if they sell the "Nintendo" brand they will be 29.99.

There are NON Nintendo brand ones at various prices.

Its a bit funny how Nintendo does all this crap to make their system work only with a special type of cable with a certain male connector. Comeon, really.

I thought with the PS3 and Xbox360 you had to buy the HDMI cables seperately aswell, so what's the difference.

Also, you don't need this to make the Wii "work". These cables allow you to play in 480p, and the reason they don't ship with the console, is that people who have no use for them would be forced to pay an extra $30.

they could have done what MS did with the xbox premium pack and gave you a cable that can be used for both componant and composite.
