Just wondering, are you able to use the Classic Controller with Gamecube games? Seems like you should be able to...

Sorry if this has already been asked... I searched.

No. You can not use the classic controller with GC games.

Reason: When you start up a GC game the wiimotes turn off. The classic controller connects to the wiimote.

yes

someone should make a wireless classic controller with slightly different colours and buttons but basically the same that acts as a gamecube controller that lets you play gamecube!

Hm. Weird you can't it has all the buttons a GC controller does (or it it lacking any?), so it seems like you should... maybe they'll make a firmware update in the future? Or they could just be making money for people like me who don't gave GC controllers... those thieves of money... ness... ehh... heheh...

c'mon people, get with it!!! The wii turns into a gamecube when you play GC games. Therefore, the games cannot utilize bluetooth, wi-fi, or anything like that.

Firmware update
no. Once you involve emulation, there is bound to be games that will not work. Only the Phantasy Star games and the Gameboy player will not work with the wii.
