channel develpoment?

Hey all,

I searched the site and couldnt find i so here goes.

Do you think nintendo will release a development kit so you can create your own channels? So a third party might develop a DVD playback chennelor a divx channel. It just seems to me that there are going to be pages of empty channels, even if you buy retro games

No, not to the normal joe shmoe. They might do what Microsoft did with the 360 and release a development kit that you will have to pay for. That will keep the everyday kid from trying to make some half ass crap that nobody wants (as harsh as it sounds, it's true). If Nintendo approaches it correctly, your idea can become something great.
