cant exit internet

i cant exit the internet browser!
when i press home it comes up with exit but the cusror isnt there and it still highlights stuff in the browser so its still running so i have to turn it off
also it has worked properly once since this started happening

solution or has this happened to any1 else

turn off your wii, then turn it back on, don't press reset, reset makes the program restart so you'll be stuck
