Cannot connect 2 players with super smash bros.

Dear everyone, thanks for dropping by and read my post, I need help on connecting two players with smash bros brawl, so my two sons can play together. Whenever I tried to connect the second players by pressing the "+" button, however it does not work. Please help me out

this thread is in the wrong section btw. I'll answer anyway becuase it probably wont be deleted but rather moved.

I believe you are trying to sync the second remote. to temperarly sync it, push the home button and go to remote settings and push reconnect. after doing so you have to push 1 and 2 on both remotes.

If you wish to permanently sync it( which I would recommend if the second controller is always or mainly used on the same wii) you have to push the red button on battery area and the sd card area.
