can my wii get bricked????

i have read that some updates brick your wii..i have all the latest updates and i see nothing wrong (yet) so am i safe?

i never modded my wii or anything. can u get bricked without modding ur wii?

im just so scared beecause i bought my wii off someyone in my city and i dont know if nintendo would give me a new one if it ever got bricked cuz i dont have a reciept or anything ...do they ask for anything of that sort or do they just say ship it to us and nothing else?


also how can i tell if my wii is modded? (bought it from some teen i never met on craigslist) is there a way to tell without opening it up?

As long as it's not modded, there should be no problems.

I'm not sure how you would be able to tell. But the guy that sold it to you would probably have said something since he may use that as an additional selling point.
