Brawl out in Japan?

At school, a Japanese friend of mine kept insisting that SSBB was out in Japan. I told him that if that was true, YouTube would be flooded with gameplay videos (which it isn't). He kept saying he saw the box cover (cover? I asked him if he only saw the "backorder box cover". He said only America has that. I am offended. Sorta.).

I'm sure that in Japan, SSBB would be out in 12/10/07.

What's more, he's telling me that he actually has a copy of the game (WTF? he told me this BEFORE the demo at E3 even came out!) because someone he knows "works at Nintendo".

Please reply to this. I'm planning on printing this page out and shoving it in his face.
