Blue stool, left left left, only for the heros eyes

ok im stuck, i just beat the first boss, and now im at this place with a blue stool and it tells me facing the sign or somthing i have to go left left left, what do i do

press 1 and - simultaneously on the stool, trust me it'll work and next time check everything in both dimensions. :smilewinkgrin:
