Blue light question

I just wanna make sure that mine is working fine, ok when there is no disc in the Wii, and when I turn it on, the blue slot light flashes for a portion of a second, doesn't turn on, it's like a quick flash, is this normal? :tard:

upon further search, I found my answer, it is normal
