Big Bad Bugaboom Treetops? <Spoiler>

I KNOW there is some extra stuff at the very top of all the trees but how do you get there? I've gotten to the very top part UNDER all the trees and you can look up and see that there is structure above the treetops but I have no idea how to get up there.

And what's with that bee lying on top of another tree who just keeps saying he is hungry!

And there's some kind of island off to the side with water and big flowers that looks like you might be able to fly there with bee Mario!

i'm trying to figure out how to get up there as well. I've almost made it a few times but fell just short of the grass on the left hand side of the waterfall. I did make it up to the top section above the trapeeze. Swing high and then fly up to the top, or just get to the wood overhang of the trapeeze and fly up. There is a bonus pipe for bits and coins.
