Looks like the BBC is interested in making games again according to wii.nintendolife.

Can we have a decent Doctor Who game please?

Looking to develop Doctor Who, Top Gear, In The Night Garden titles

MCV has revealed that the BBC Worldwide is interested in making games based on key IPs after years of sitting back and watching.

The BBC has said that it wants to see its biggest brands like Doctor Who, Top Gear, In The Night Garden and more expand into games for all audiences. The games would appear on a range of different mediums such as Facebook, iPhone, Wii and DS. The BBC's last attempt was in 2005 when a PS2 game based on the TV series Spooks didn't quite take off (not counting the pictured Top Trumps game from 2008).

Dave Anderson, head of multimedia development at BBC Worldwide, had this to say:
We've been reactive to the market in the last few years. There were a few opportunistic licensing deals, but we were largely aggregating and holding onto our properties to wait and see how the market developed.
Furthermore, BBC Worldwide hired former EA and Yahoo exec Robert Nashak as Executive VP of digital entertainment to help get the ball rolling. Nashak said:
BBC Worldwide has great potential in digital entertainment simply by the quality and variety of content it has to offer. I am extremely excited to be playing a leading role in realising this potential and growing its audience base, through other platforms, around the world.
Take a Doctor Who game on the Wii for example, you could use the Sonic Screwdriver controlled via the Wii Remote to unlock doors, set traps or even fly the TARDIS to new locations by waggling. As long as it's better than the last trumpery effort!
heres the link mcvuk.com

I would a House M.D video game, the object would be have Dr. House be the biggest Asshole or Jerk (which ever you prefer) to the team and to his patients.
And the bigger asshole or jerk you become, the more points you get and it would have WIFI to have Dr House to be jerks to other team members also.
like House can torture his patients if you want him too, he can grill 'em to the point of them dying right there, You can murder Foreman, Chase, Thirteen, Wilson or anyone You (Gregory House) wishes to do. or you can play nice with Dr. Cuddy or just go brutal on her ass.

Dr. dose not fly the TARDIS. Its needs 8 people to fly it (cant remember rightly)

Spooks has a bit of Modern Warfare 2 syndrome, it doesn't seem to like its main cast.

Also, Doctor Who MMO anyone?

wonder what paradoxical bollocks they will come up with now so that they still exist.

Have they really ran out of different ideas so that now they have to bring out the same guys every time the ratings fall?

Bet your bottom dollar that the cybermen, the master and the dalek leader will be back.

I miss the old days when all you had to do was fall into a box of clothes to come up with a monster
