Heres a new game for it
[ur=lhttp://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131105]Lnik[/url]SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., May 2, 2009 – 3D Stooges Software today announced the release of its long-awaited video game cartridge for the Atari Jaguar interactive multimedia system, MAD BODIES. The game features a unique style that fuses classic Breakout-style game play with shooter mechanics for a video game experience like no other.
Developed by FORCE Design, MAD BODIES puts the player in the midst of the Dark Knight Games tournament hosted by Dave Vapourware. The battle takes place over 10 stages, and with an arsenal of multiple weapons and power-ups, the player fights to take out The Graphics Man and prevent his ultimate rule of the universe.
Steven Scavone, chief executive officer of 3D Stooges Software, shared his insight into classic video game development.
“After a half-dozen years in development, 3D Stooges Software and FORCE Design are pleased to bring this exceptional game to the Jaguar community,” said Scavone. “Classic gaming development is a labor of love that we all do in our spare time – we if we were getting paid for this we’d do it all the time!”
MAD BODIES features include:
10 stages of non-stop, world batting/shooting action
Multiple power-ups and weapons
Graphical special effects including morphing, scaling and screen quake
Stereo soundtrack
Unique sound samples and digital speech
MAD BODIES comes in an oversized plastic clamshell case with full color cover and cartridge label, and a semi-gloss, black and white instruction manual. The game is for one player only and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
