So i have had my Wii for over a month and then While i was playing Wii Sports and my Wii froze, followed by a buzzing noise from the Wii, and i was forced to turn it off at the wall. It has since done this once more to me during Wii Sports, and this time i decided to hold down the power button on the Wii and it eventually turned off. I know other peoples Wii's has done this, my question is are all Wii's susceptible to this freezing problem or should i get my replaced/repaired?

This has happened to me twice, while playing Wii Sports, and SSX Blur...I get a buzz and it's frozen.
I think it's because I kept it in a tightly closed area. It hasn't happened for a while because I now open the cabinet now. (I think that's the problem that it overheated)

Do you keep it in an open area?

Yes i would consider it an open area. I have it laying horizontal, and there isn't really anything blocking the ventilation at the back.
