Apple Airport Extreme Router won't connect to Wii Console

Hi, my title pretty much says it all. I'm really not familiar with my router and all it's capabilities but I'm having trouble connecting to my Wii. I have no idea how to change the channels or anything. It shows that it finds it on the TV but won't connect. I've even gone through changing the password through my internet company. It's a small town internet company but it's also highspeed. Not sure what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is your internet wireless?

Dose it go threw a PC?
If so you will have to let it (the Wii)access the internet from the PC
