Hello , I purchased one of these and others said it worked with there wii. I cant seem to get it to work. I am hooking it directly from the wii to my cable modem from comcast. It`s an arris tm502g modem. It has MAC numbers written on it as well but I dont see an option in wii settings to set that up.
The wii console info informs me that the wii Mac and the lan adapter mac are different. Is this why it wont work?
Both lights on the adapter are working,one on and one blinking. And the modem shows it is connected{blinking}
I have a router that i am not currently using,and dont really want to use if I dont have to.
My wii is presently connected though the nintendo usb wifi connector,but I want a lan connection for much more speed..
I appreciate any help.
