After Helping the gorons

after helping the gorons and getting the second shadow piece. it tells me that i have to go north of karakiyo village, ive searched everywhere and do not know where to go. Any help?

Remember the jousting battle you had on the bridge on Hyrule Field? Go across that.

i went across that a couple of times but couldnt blow up the rocks to get to the other side.

You need bombs. There's a bomb shop in Kakariko.
