Adding friends

Hey pplz

Just got my Wii(its awesom). I've tried adding a couple of people but they're still greyed out. Does the nick name matter or is it just the code you have to enter. The other people have already added me.

I'm pretty sure its just the code. I dont have wifi yet so im not sure, just get ther wii numbers and punch them in
