Ad hoc network?

Hi folks,

My router has died just as I got my Wii :nonod: , Has anybody had any look connecting a Wii via a PCI wifi card? Current connection is:

internet -- modem -- PC(with PCI wireless network card) ///////// Wii

I haven't managed to get the wireless network online with my laptop through this yet so I will pretty much have to start from scratch...

The PCI card is a Belkin 802.11g
