Some people have been asking me about my avatar. I have just started 3D modeling and I have been using Waluigi as my first project.
I will keep this thread updated with pictures of the construction.

Started off by modeling the mouth and nose using vector extrusions.
Added a few more features and some very basic textures.
Modeled the ears (took ages).
Made the hat using extrusions and a subsurface modifier.
Added some detail to the hat.
Added temporary pupils.
Started to create the body by extending the neck. Also added hair to the back of his head.
Made decent pupils and extended the body some more.
Finished the model of the body. Added some very basic textures.
Added a decent skin texture. It's really started to look nice now.
Minor improvements on the textures.
Quick attempt at a pose.
Waluigi looking off into space :lol:
Added some more poses.
Started to add some ambiance.
