I have been searching high and low for the inexpensive component cables. Many companies make them including Nyko, Intek and MadCatz. I swear I checked every store that carries WII items and most either don't carry any at all or the have the Nintendo branded unit plus some overpriced "HD" set for 50$+ !
The ONLY place that carries inexpensive units is Game Crazy which exists inside of some Hollywood Video stores here in the Bay Area. I finally got my 9.8 foot MadCatz component cables for under 22$ with tax.
BTW, I was really pissed that EB/Gamestop tries to sell you an "HD" cable set of their own brand for over 50$. Also Circuit City carries all the other Nyko accessories like the wireless sensor bar and the chargestation so there is NO reason they couldn't also have the component cables grrrr
